Imma assume that y’all are familiar with streetwear label 2bop. If not, click here to pop on over to their site to familiarise yourself, and also check out this collabo they did with artist Chloe Hugo-Hamman a while back. This is their lookbook for their current Darkphase 2 Winter 2015 collection (better late than never), which “draws inspiration from our formative years, spent living our own South African versions of the west coast California dream! Skating and listening to hip hop in the 90’s blended with the glitches and glimpses of international culture we absorbed through playing bootleg Japanese arcade games on bootleg home video consoles,” they tell us. I love it, something about it makes me think of the late great Eazy-E, and it makes me want to download entire discographies of 90s rappers.
