Perennial crowd favourite, MaXhosa by Laduma Ngxokolo closed the first night of Menswear week. As expected, he showed his new range which he showed at Pitti Uomo in Florence, Italy, on the 18th of June. It’s classic MaXhosa, with the signature patterns we’ve come to love, now including knitted joggers and shorts, and reversible jumpers.
Wearability score: 10/10
Peacocking score: 7/10
Skattie Thoughts: This one scores highly for us on both wearability and peacocking, its popularity has more than proven that anyone can wear the pieces easily, and yet they are always likely to turn heads. We’re huge fans of the man’s brilliance when it comes to knitwear patterns, and we understand that his is a knitwear label, but we’re also dying to see him take that brilliant eye and move it onto different fabrications. Imagine MaXhosa suits, shirts, hats, and more. Oh well, a girl can dream I suppose.
