
Fulham are set to complete another £25m. Move for Burnley midfielder Sander Berge.
The 26-year-old midfielder was a key player for the Clarets last season in the top flight. But relegation has made it difficult for the club to retain key players. Having recently lost young French winger Wilson Odober to Spurs for £31.5m.
The Norway international has penned a five-year deal at Craven Cottage and the club have the option of extending that by a further 12 months.
Fulham will pay an initial £20m for the midfielder, with a further £5m in add-ons.
Berge, 26, joined Burnley from Sheffield United in 2023. And was voted the Clarets’ player of the year as they were relegated to the Championship.
The midfielder becomes Fulham’s fourth signing of the transfer window, following the arrivals of Emile Smith Rowe, Jorge Cuenca and Ryan Sessegnon.
Berge, who played 37 times. For Burnley last season, ยูฟ่าเบท has been left out of both of the Clarets’ Championship fixtures so far this term.
The midfielder has been capped 46 times by Norway.
Fulham host Leicester City on 24 August in their first home match of the Premier League season.
Fulham are still looking to strengthen their squad, especially in the midfield area with key midfielder Joao Palhinha moving to Bayern Munich. They are also reportedly interested in Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay. But could not agree on a fee with United, while Bjerk will move to Fulham for £20m with a further £5m in add-ons.
Fulham have already signed three players this season: Ryan Sessegnon, Jorge Cuenca and Emile Smith Rowe.
