Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Georgi Mamardashvili, who will be loaned to Valencia for the season.

Mamardashvili’s transfer fee including add-ons will be more than €30m (£25.5m).

Newcastle United, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan are all interested in Mamardashvili.

Liverpool are eyeing a move for Mamardashvili. With reports suggesting they have made an offer to Valencia on Tuesday and there are now signs the two parties are close to agreeing a deal.

Negotiations between the two clubs are all about add-ons, with Mamardashvili’s total value set to exceed €30m (£25.5m).

Once the two parties have reached an agreement, the Georgian goalkeeper will remain with Valencia on loan until the end of the season before moving to the Reds next year.
